ABOUT THE MASTER – Lubomir Dudev
Second generation of masters-craftsmen, trained two masters and numerous apprentices. He consciously seeks provocation, and his own style can be identified as a vanguard combination of tradition and contemporaneousness. The favourite combination of the master jeweller are the semi precious gemstones: agate from the valley of river Arda, jade and charoid from Russia, malachite from Asia, tiger’s eye and amethyst from Africa and mother-of-pearl from Caribbean that give poetic spirit and elegance to the product with their bizarre shape and vivid lines. The stones are processed by hand, considering the ornamental element and shape of each of them. Each product is unique, because the jewel’s design is defined by the stone shape.
